Project Management: Ensuring Exemplary Execution

Project Management is a critical element for success in the Edvance Research approach. We incorporate a clear project management process into each research project we undertake to ensure that studies are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and with a high degree of quality.

Edvance Research has assembled a Project Management Office (PMO) made up of a highly-experienced team of Project Managers, Project Coordinators and Project Analysts with extensive backgrounds in successfully managing high-level, complex projects. Our PMO embraces all facets of project management including project selection techniques, team formation, project plan creation, project status reporting, budgeting, risk analysis and mitigation, dealing with obstacles, making goal trade-offs, managing resources across multiple projects, communications and negotiations.

In order to ensure a level of quality that meets or exceeds the requirements and expectations of all stakeholders, Edvance Research’s PMO has developed a number of work flow processes, templates, databases, and documents that ensure adequate internal and external review of all deliverables and compliance with research requirements and standards. We have built into our Project Management process a model of efficiency and have organized our business around a cross-functional group structure, in which individuals’ specific responsibilities, activities, and timelines for completion are defined.

An accurate research staffing plan and study budget is essential to complete a study in a quality manner and within the required timeline while controlling costs. Through our experience and history in conducting rigorous research, we are able to formulate accurate, realistic resource staffing and budgeting plans for any given type of study. The accuracy of our budgeting is enhanced as we break down every study into functional activities and recognize the resource and time commitments necessary to complete each of these activities.
