We, the employee owners of Edvance Research, Inc., are pleased to introduce you to our Company.

We have been assisting key clients in the U.S. with conducting and translating education research into policy and practice at all levels. Some of our key work includes the following:
 
  • We are the provider to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for Program Enhancement & Quality Assurance for Afterschool Centers on Education (ACE). We work with over 700 afterschool centers throughout the state of Texas to assist TEA with running this meaningful program for students, their parents and local communities.
  • With funding from the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, Edvance has developed PM Village™. PM Village is a "community of practice", with a suite of tools and services that brings together school leaders, district administrators, teachers and education researchers to create a professional learning center about managing performance.   • We managed the Regional Educational Laboratory – Southwest (REL Southwest) for the Institute of Education Sciences, U.S. Department of Education for 2006-2011.  We provided research and assistance to a five state region including Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas, and worked for the benefit of over 7 million students and 500,000 teachers in approximately 14,500 schools in grades pre-kindergarten through college in this five-state region.  
In 2005 Edvance was founded in San Antonio, Texas, by 6 executives, co-workers and friends working together in education to form a mission driven, women and minority owned, small business.    In 2009, the founders of Edvance formed an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) that transitions the ownership of Edvance to its employees over time.
