REL Technical Assistance
REL Southwest provides technical assistance to help regional constituents
make decisions to improve education based on the best available evidence. Specifically,
assistance to interpret the latest findings from scientifically valid research that
pertain to requirements under the No Child Left Behind Act. The Technical Assistance
Response Unit at REL Southwest aims to be highly
responsive to the needs of school leaders, teachers, parents, district and state
policymakers, and others in organizations working to improve education in our region.

REL Southwest responds to inquiries about available research and all expressed
needs for research-based information are tracked and contribute to prioritizing
the REL's annual research agenda. We also work closely with regional and national
technical assistance providers funded by the U.S. Department of Education to share
research-based information that can be used to support states and districts in improving
student achievement.
